There really was a biblical Moses and Pharoah. Charlton Heston and Yul Brenner did a great job of acting on the big screen but I’ll bet the original exchange between the two was a lot more heated. At one point when Moses told Pharoah to “Let my people go!” Pharoah’s response was, “Your men can go but leave your children behind! (Exodus 10:10)”. They both knew the importance of the next generation. And it would seem today that others know that as well because we are experiencing an all-out attack on our children!
They are facing: pornography, marijuana, fentanyl, immorality, abortion, gender confusion, satanism, school indoctrination and all of this at an earlier age.
It’s coming at them from all directions too, via the internet, TV, social media and even from our government through public education. It's not unusual today to hear someone say that they would not want to bring children into this world.
And yet that is not God’s plan. In Genesis 1:28 the Lord said, “be fruitful and multiply, fill the earth and subdue it,” not just survive and have one of each, a boy and a girl! Here at the RI Family Institute, we want to restore the joy of family and help your family to ‘THRIVE!”
But the attacks are real and intentional! Child advocate, Bob Chiaradio, from Westerly is one of our new board members. He recently spoke at an event about these attacks on our children. He kept repeating the statement. “It’s all part of the plan!” Chew on that for a while. If you and I fail to train our children up in the way they should go, there are others who will gladly do it for us, and you might not like the outcome!
